This is VOLUME 2 of No Place For The Damned – we had to split the album since we got a little carried away with how long and vinyl can only hold up to 23 minutes per side. Volume 2 of No Place For The Damned begins with “Traveller”, the final chapter of the “Trinity” trilogy. It follows a lone scientist hurtling through deep space after a cataclysmic solar flare, blending haunting melodies with cinematic intensity. Next is “The Pit and the Pendulum”, a twisted tale of fear and captivity inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, pairing classic horror imagery with crushing riffs and unrelenting tension. As a special addition, Volume 2 includes bonus tracks taken from the B-sides of the albums original singles — “Tornado of Souls” and “Aces High”. These tributes to the bands metal roots pay homage to the genres defining influences with ferocious energy and precision. The second side of the album presents the complete “Trinity” trilogy (“Manifest Destiny”, “Hellbound Planet”, and “Traveller”) as a standalone piece, seamlessly sequenced with additional transitional audio to enhance the conceptual journey — a descent from scientific breakthrough into planetary collapse, and finally, the search for redemption among the stars.
